Election watchdogs and an anti-crime group have filed a complaint against Commission on Elections (Comelec) officials for allegedly committing “serious dishonesty and gross neglect of duty.”

Comelec Executive Director Jose Tolentino Jr., directors James Arthur Jimenez and Teopisto Elnas Jr., former Comelec chairman Juan Andres Bautista, and systems provider Smartmatic were accused of failing to implement key provisions of the Election Automation Law.
