Malacañang on Tuesday welcomed the passage of a bill that seeks to make the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) program mandatory for grades 11 and 12 students in public and private schools.
“That’s good news. The President wants that passed,” Palace spokesman Salvador Panelo said in a news briefing.
