MARAWI CITY: Losing candidates in Lanao del Sur are holding a prayer rally this Friday to urge President Rodrigo Duterte and the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to declare a failure of elections in the province on grounds that there was massive cheating and vote-buying in last Monday’s midterm elections.

The losing aspirants and other multisectoral leaders held an emergency meeting and agreed on the prayer rally to demand justice for the people of Lanao del Sur who allegedly became victims of electoral fraud.
