EDC earnings up 158% to P3.9B

ENERGY Development Corp. (EDC) booked a net income of P3.9 billion for the first quarter of the year, up 158.2 percent from P1.5 billion in the same period a year earlier.

In a regulatory filing, EDC said the first-quarter income surge was primarily driven by the P1.9-billion surge in revenue.
