Quezon City mayoral bet Vincent “Bingbong” Crisologo — arrested on the eve of the May 13 elections for alleged vote-buying — was released pending further investigation and voted just a few hours before precincts closed.
He accused his rival, reelectionist Josefina “Joy” Belmonte, of also buying votes, and said he was considering charging authorities with unlawful arrest and detention.
