MASSIVE vote-buying, harassments, defective vote counting machines (VCM) and disenfranchised voters came to fore in various parts of the regions during Monday’s elections.

A failure of elections was declared in Panglima Estino town in Sulu after violence broke out; unidentified gunmen, shot and wounded five people. Authorities did not release a report on the incident but brought the wounded to the hospital.
