THE Supreme Court (SC) stopped the Commission on Elections (Comelec) from disqualifying several provincial candidates in who used the 'old format' in filing their Certificates of Candidacy (CoC).

It issued a Status Quo Ante Order (SQAO) in favor of Corcuera, Romblon vice mayoralty Candidate Eddie Fondevilla Mazo; Anthony Famat Fruelda, Corcuera, Romblon candidate for councilor ; and Vanessa Michelle Roquero, San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan candidate for councilor. JOMAR CANLAS
