THERE was once this movie that showed a monstrous rolling boulder fitted with stone spikes that shot fatal projectiles at its opponents. Viewing the CNN senatorial debate at the Quadricentennial Pavilion of the University of Santo Tomas on April 27, one familiar with the movie unavoidably would recall it as applicable in the situation, but with this difference — the monster stone was not the villain but the hero, and the sharp projectiles it fiercely fired away were good demolishers of bad intent.
