A manhunt operation against dismissed policeman Eduardo Acierto is ongoing after a Manila court ordered his arrest and seven others over the alleged smuggling of P11-billion worth of “shabu” last year, Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Oscar Albayalde announced on Thursday.

Albayalde told reporters in an ambush interview that tracker teams were sent to the Acierto’s possible hiding areas.
