Saluyot fiber under study as natural packaging material

With a directive from Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol, the Philippine Fiber Industry Development Authority (PhilFIDA) and the Bureau of Agricultural Research (BAR) are currently studying jute as raw material for natural packaging.
