SINCE the Chinese are profiting from the natural resources within our exclusive economic zone (EEZ) in the West Philippine Sea by mass harvesting giant clams in Scarborough Shoal and in some instances, off the shores of Pag-asa Island, why don’t we also profit from it as well by exploiting the tourism potential of our territories in the West Philippine Sea? How? By opening Pag-asa and other Philippine-occupied islands as a visa-free tourist resort for diving, snorkeling and fishing.
