SC overturns Comelec ruling on old CoC format

The Supreme Court (SC) has slammed the Commission on Elections (Comelec) for disqualifying candidates who used the “old format” in the filing of the certificate of candidacy (CoC).

It then halted the disqualification of a mayoralty candidate in Baguio City after the Comelec delisted his name for using the “old format.”
