Record-high heat index hits Metro Manila anew— Pagasa

METRO Manila hit a record-high heat index or level of human discomfort on Sunday, the state weather bureau said.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) registered a heat index of 38 degrees Celsius (C) at 2 p.m. at the Science Garden weather station in Diliman, Quezon City, resulting from a temperature of 35.6C and 39 percent relative humidity.
