INTERNATIONAL defense officials will be coming to the country to observe the conduct of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) during the country’s first-ever automated elections on May 10.

It was Defense Secretary Norberto Gon-zales who invited international observers from defense and military establishments worldwide to watch the behavior of the AFP during next month’s balloting.
