BANSUD, Oriental Mindoro: A tribal leader and supporter of local officials was found dead in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, allegedly tortured by the New People’s Army (NPA).
Jose Barera, alias Gegs, 47, a Hanunuo tribal leader, was found floating on the Tumalo River at Sitio Liberty, Barangay Naibuan, San Jose with multiple gunshot wounds in the body.
