THE Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) warned motorists to expect traffic jams in parts of Metro Manila, which would be closed over the weekend for road repairs.

In a separate advisory, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said the southbound lane of the 1^stlane from the sidewalk of EDSA New York in Cubao before Monte de Piedad would be closed for reblocking and restoration starting 11 p.m. Friday until Monday morning.
