THE Luzon grid was placed on red alert anew because a power plant went on “forced outage,” the Department of Energy (DoE) said on Thursday.
Quoting the National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP), the DoE said the SMC Consolidated Power Corp.'s Limay Unit 2 said the outage at 6:32 p.m. may be because of a boiler tube leak.
