PARTS of Manila Bay are now open for swimming, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) announced on Wednesday, after meeting coastal water quality standards fit for human recreation.

Environment Secretary Roy Cimatu led the opening to the public of the Aguanan beach in Barangay Sisiman, Sitio Babuyan in Mt. View and Sitio Boracay in Barangay Lucanin -- all in Bataan province.
