THE Supreme Court will conduct a stringent and fair investigation into allegations that 13 judges were linked to the illegal drug trade in the country based on a Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) report.
"It’s not a small thing for anyone to accuse sitting judges of violations as serious as drug-related ones... These are serious allegations that we cannot just ignore," Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin told reporters inside the High Court compound in Baguio City where the justices were holding their yearly summer session.
