UPDATE: Ressa pleads not guilty to tax evasion charges

MARIA Ressa, CEO of news site Rappler and president of Rappler Holdings Corporation (RHC), on Wednesday morning pleaded not guilty to tax evasion charges.

The trial before the Court of Tax Appeals's (CTA) First Division will start on May 15.
