3 Reds killed in foiled Samar PNP station raid

CATARMAN, Northern Samar: Three New People’s Army (NPA) rebels were killed and one was captured, while two police officers were wounded after about 50 fully-armed rebels attacked the police station in Victoria, Northern Samar on Friday.

Police Lt. Eladio Alo, chief of Victoria Police Station, said the rebels, wearing military fatigues with yellow cloth headbands, arrived unnoticed and positioned themselves at the rooftop and third floor of the station around 3 a.m.
