THE Sandiganbayan's Special Fourth Division convicted former Optical Media Board (OMB) Chairman Ronald 'Ronnie' Ricketts and one other person over the release of pirated discs in 2010 and sentenced them from 6 to eight years in prison.

In a decision promulgated on Friday afternoon , the court also sentenced Ricketts and Glenn Perez, former Enforcement and Inspection Division (EID) Computer Operator 2, to perpetual disqualification from holding public office.
