TWO persons, including a security guard, were killed and another one was wounded following shootout on Monday triggered by a land dispute in a remote village in Talisay City, Negros Occidental province, police reports said on Tuesday.

Reports sent to Camp Crame by the Western Visayas Police Office, identified the two fatalities as Federico Mandate, a security guard and Francisco Lumagyao, 58, while wounded was Lolito Onate, an army reservist.
