My grandfather was born in 1910 in Xung Tong, Year 3, during the regime of the late Qing Dynasty at Fujian Province, Jin Jiang, Lion Stone District.

At age 15 he moved to Santo Cristo Street in Manila Chinatown in 1925. He earned a living by trading and loved the Philippines, so he converted into Philippine citizenship. My mother was born and raised in Manila. I was also born and raised in Manila Chinatown.
