TWO police officers in Metro Manila were arrested in separate operations for alleged extortion, which also resulted in the relief of key officials, including the district director of the Eastern Police District (EPD).

Maj. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) regional director, on Wednesday confronted a police officer who was arrested for an alleged robbery extortion incident.
