Factory output drops in January

VOLUME and value of factory output dropped in January, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) reported on Tuesday.

Results of the PSA's Monthly Integrated Survey of Selected Industries (MISSI) showed that the Volume of Production Index (VoPI) declined by 4.1 percent from a 10.8 percent expansion in January last year.
