The Makabayan coalition on Sunday rallied support for a mix of independent and opposition Senate candidates for the midterm polls, including reelectionist senator Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino 4th.

The group also vowed to support the reelection bid of Senators Grace Poe and Maria Lourdes Nancy Binay, and the candidacy of former senator Serge Osmeña and former party-list representative Neri Colmenares.
