Inflation likely eased anew in February, economists polled by The Manila Times said, finally returning to target as lower food prices offset oil price hikes.
Projections for the month ranged from 3.8-4.3 percent with a 4.0-percent average — at the higher end of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ (BSP) 2.0-4.0 percent full-year goal and lower than January’s 4.4 percent.
