Japan commits funding for PH

Japan has committed to fund various projects in the Philippines following a high-level meeting in Osaka, the Finance department said on Friday.

Philippine economic managers and key members of the Duterte administration's Build Build Build team led by Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez III and high-level officials from the Government of Japan led by Dr. Hiroto Izumi, Special Advisor to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, met in Osaka, Japan Thursday (February 21) for the seventh meeting of the Philippines-Japan High-Level Joint Committee on Infrastructure Development and Economic Cooperation.
