For the past several years, applying for registration of Computerized Accounting System (CAS) with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) has been a long waiting game for taxpayers. This is due to the high volume of applications the BIR receives every year. As of date, the BIR is still processing applications submitted to it as far back as 2016.
