THE Commission on Elections (Comelec) en banc, sitting as the National Plebiscite Board of Canvassers (NPBC), on Thursday officially proclaimed the exclusion of six municipalities of Lanao del Norte and the inclusion of 63 barangay (villages) in seven towns of North Cotabato in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

Excluded were the municipalities of Baloi, Monai, Nunungan, Pantar, Tagilowan and Pangkal, all in Lanao del Norte.
