PH factory output declines in December

Factory output fell in December as demand slowed following the holiday season, the government reported on Tuesday.

The Philippines Statistics Authority (PSA) said that contractions in both the volume and value of production indices (VoPI and VaPI) worsened from a year earlier to –10.1 percent and –9.3 percent, respectively, from –6.1 percent and –7.1 percent.
