Mighty Sports Philippines needed to fend off the gritty Homenetmen Beirut Basketball Club of Lebanon, 96-89, to remain unbeaten in the 30th Dubai International Basketball Championship at the Shabab Al-Ahli Sports Club in United Arab Emirates on Sunday night (Monday morning in Manila).

The Filipino ball club went to Jeremiah Gray, Randolph Morris and Justin Brownlee to overcome the Walter Hodge-led Lebanese champion for its third win in as many outings.
