Comelec warns Baguio watchdogs vs politicking

BAGUIO CITY: The election officer of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) of this city had warned multi-sectoral anti-vote buying campaigners here that their accreditation as voter education advocates would be revoked once they get involved in partisan politics during pilot testing of the advocacy in the city.

City election officer John Paul Martin said that before the local election office releases the campaigners’ accreditation, those taking part in the Comelec’s voter education drive would be made to sign an affidavit stating their non-involvement in partisan politics.
