‘Limiting construction of cell towers disruptive’

The proposal of a Presidential adviser to allow only two firms to build telecommunications (telco) towers is “disruptive,” IT expert and University of the Philippines law professor Roger Quevedo said on Thursday.

“The proposal of Presidential Economic and Information Technology Adviser Ramon Jacinto for two-private company tower builders only to serve telco’s requirement is disruptive, if not regressive,” he said in a statement.
