20,000 troops sent off to secure Bangsamoro plebiscite

DATU ODIN SINSUAT, Maguindanao: The military and police sent off about 20,000 of their personnel to secure the upcoming plebiscite on the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL).

Gen. Benjamin Madrigal Jr., Armed Forces of the Philippines chief, Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Oscar Albayalde and Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Al Parreño were present to see the troops off.
