THE former manager of Rizal Commercial Banking Corp. (RCBC) convicted last week for money laundering will appeal for a reversal of the verdict next week, her lawyer said on Tuesday.

“So we will take a look and determine now our proper course of action. But right now, we are going to file a motion for reconsideration,” said Demetrio Custodio, representing Maia Deguito, in an interview with reporters.
