More than 800 personnel from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will be deployed for the “Traslacion,” the annual procession of the Black Nazarene in Manila on January 9 which is expected to draw millions of participants.
MMDA Chairman Danilo Lim on Saturday said 850 personnel would be posted around Quiapo Church and along the route of the procession to manage traffic, control crowds, assist in emergency response, and clear roads.
