Far Eastern University (FEU) is a jewel of green in the middle of Manila. Founded in 1928 as the Institute of Accounts, Business and Finance by Nicanor Reyes, an Accounting graduate from Columbia University, the Institute, in turn, expanded into the multi-disciplinary Far Eastern University. It was established for working students who wanted to earn degrees. That is still its primary mission, to which it has been successful, innovative and unique.
