METRO Manila registered a lower crime rate in 2018 from 2017, which includes the eight focus crimes, according to the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) on Wednesday.
The NCRPO said 14,633 cases of the eight focus crimes — murder, homicide, physical injury, rape, robbery, theft, carnapping of motor vehicle, and carnapping of motorcycle — were recorded in 2018 or a 21.01 percent drop from the 18,524 in 2017.
