Streaming service Netflix has a special holiday announcement for Filipino fans: ‘Goyo: The Boy General’ will be available on their platform beginning January 26. Netflix continues to ramp up its Filipino content with the said historical biopic starring Paulo Avelino as the titular Filipino hero under the direction of Jerrold Tarog. Brash ladies’ man Gregorio ‘Goyo’ del Pilar rises to become one of the Philippines’ youngest generals in this historical epic sequel to ‘Heneral Luna.’
