AS part of its 350th foundation day, the Municipality of Pagsanjan, Laguna and the National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) recently declared its Puerta Real (Royal Gate) as a national historical landmark.
Built in 1878 to memorialize when it was Laguna’s provincial capital town, it was also declared by the National Museum as a National Cultural Treasure in 2017.
