UPDATE: 2 soldiers ambushed in Cotabato City, FB photos show they’re dead, Army says no

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Two Army soldiers were ambushed on Friday although there were conflicting reports as to their fate.

Photos of the allegedly slain soldiers were circulated on Facebook and were identified as Private First Class Nerwin Delfin and Michael Haudar, members of the 37th Infantry Battalion. Their unit is deployed in Maguindanao province. Witnesses said motorcycle gunmen attacked the duo without warning.
