THE National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) has raised its alert status to “blue” as tropical depression “Usman” passes through Central Philippines.

The “blue” alert took effect at 8 a.m. on Thursday, which means that all NDRRMC personnel will have to monitor the possible effects of the inclement weather and ensure coordination and preparedness among member agencies and affected areas.
