‘Usman’ intensifies, may make landfall
in Eastern Samar on Friday – Pagasa

TROPICAL Depression Usman slightly intensified, moving west-northwestward, and may make landfall in Eastern Samar on Friday, the state-run weather bureau said.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Wednesday, Usman was last spotted 775 kilometers (km) east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur, with maximum winds of 55 kilometers per hour (kph), and gustiness of up to 65 kph.
