Alexa Milliam staked her claim as the best player in the junior ranks today, upending top seed Bliss Bayking twice in the semis to complete another three-title romp in the PPS-PEPP City of Naga age-group tennis tournament at the Naga tennis courts in Cebu on Saturday.
The 14-year-old Milliam topped her age-group category with a 6-0, 6-1 victory Kay Gabonada then stunned Bayking, 6-2, 7-6(5), in the girls’ 16-U semis before holding off No. 2 Rose Bahonsua, 6-3, 6-3, to claim the championship.
