Delinquent taxpayers may have a reason to be thankful this Christmas season as the Tax Amnesty Act of 2018 (Act) is a step closer to becoming a law. Just recently, the House of Representatives and the Senate ratified the bicameral conference committee report on the Act on December 12 and 13, respectively. The Act has been submitted to President Duterte for him to sign it into law.
