Duterte meets Iglesia ni Cristo leader

PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte met with the leader of the influential religious group Iglesia ni Cristo (INC), ahead of the 2019 midterm elections.

Photos released by Malacañang on Wednesday, or five days after the meeting, showed Duterte chatting with INC Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo at the church headquarters on Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City last week.
