THE Department of Education (DepEd) has allowed its non-teaching employees to participate in conventions, seminars, conferences and symposium, as part of the collective negotiation agreement (CNA) signed between the agency and the employees’ union.
Lawyer Domingo Alidon, president of the DepEd-National Employees’ Union (DepEd-NEU), said non-teaching personnel have been allowed to participate in activities held outside the workstation not just to improve their skills but also to have the opportunities to engage in a discussion about issues and concerns of non-teaching employees.
