THE decision on admitting the third telco becomes all the more important in a scenario where Filipinos of the future are being prepared for “21st century skills.” Unfortunately, the audacity of Mislatel has been shaken with the realities on the ground, and the call for other players to join them, as well as the possible rent of common towers of Globe and Smart, are not good signs that the country will have a progressive future of stable connectivity, fair priced and best service.
